The other lease we just signed is with Green Health Center. They will be located at #15-103rd Ave. NE, just north of Main St. Green Health will specialize in "Meridian Massage Treatment", Foot Massage, Facials, Herbal Teas, and Coffee. They will complement another tenant of ours in Old Bellevue called Kinese which specializes in Gyrotonics which develops core muscle strength while lenghthening the spine.
And last but not least is the lease we signed with Hopelink in Kirkland at 11011-120th Ave. NE. Here is what Hopelink has to say about their new facility...
The 18,700 square foot center will offer a number of Hopelink's existing services in one convenient location, and will pilot Hopelink's first food bank based on a "grocery store" model of food distribution. This model will provide clients with expanded access to the new food bank, as we will be expanding the hours of its operation. Clients will be able to select items from shelves and refrigerated coolers rather than passing through traditional food bank lines. We are excited to be able to offer this 'grocery store' model at the new Kirkland/Bothell site, as it will allow clients greater choice and opportunity to select foods that are appropriate for their families' needs. It will also provide clients access to services in a way that respects their work, family and life commitments and gives them more flexibility in navigating their many responsibilities. This center also will allow us to incorporate many Hopelink services at one location. The Kirkland/Bothell integrated service center will offer adult education, literacy, employment programs, case management support, lifelong learning, emergency financial assistance and energy assistance in addition to the food bank.
A few weeks ago some friends asked me if I wanted to go to Yosemite National Park to hike to the top of Half Dome. At first I thought I wouldn't go because of a foot problem and ongoing knee issues. After some thought however, I decided to go for it. Four of us had hiked the Grand Canyon rim to rim in 2005. With one of my friends we have been to the Grand Canyon, hiked on the Great Wall of China, and hiked in the same area with our wives in the Dolomite Mountains in Italy. So, to hike Half Dome was going to be another notch in our belts.
